Precision beauty, and the craft behind it.

Beauty HQ is a single-chair studio in Maidstone, Melbourne, run by therapist and educator Anh Ho — and NEXUS, the one-on-one training arm that teaches other professionals. The site had to sell an unhurried, one-client-at-a-time service and carry a 28-item price list, without becoming a booking system.

Cream, sage and a high-contrast editorial serif — closer to a skincare brand than a salon, because the offer is expertise rather than volume.

What we built

6 decisions doing the work on every visit.

01

The site sells, Square transacts

A deliberate split: the site owns the brand, the menu, the prices and the search presence — Square owns the calendar, payments and retail. There is no cart or booking engine to maintain here, and availability is never out of date because the site never claims to know it.

02

Deep links to the exact service

Every one of the 28 services and courses links to its own Square booking screen rather than a generic “Book now”, so the client arrives with the right treatment already selected.

03

A price list that is a page, not a PDF

Five categories, each service with its duration, starting price and plain-language description — indexable text rather than an image, and structured so add-ons never get advertised as a headline price.

04

The training arm, given its own room

NEXUS runs four real courses from a discovery call to a full mentorship. Each is written out with what it covers and what it costs, because a professional choosing a $1,200 mentorship reads more before booking than someone booking a lash fill.

05

Booking explained before it starts

A four-step “Read here, book on Square” section sets the expectation that the site hands over to Square — the handover is designed rather than hidden, which is what stops it reading as a broken link.

06

Aftercare that keeps selling

The products used in the appointment are grouped by what they are for and linked to the Square store, so retail follows the treatment instead of sitting in an unrelated shop tab.
